SAP Landscape Management

SAP Landscape Management consists of the following components:

  • Controllers, various component managers (Service Manager, Resource Manager, Virtualization Manager, Process Manager, Monitoring and Validation Manager) as shown in the center box of the diagram. This layer encapsulates the main logic of SAP Landscape Management and represents the main functionalities that are visible directly to the users. Config Data (Basic Configuration, Service Configuration, Resource Configuration, Virtualization
  • Configuration, Custom Operations and Hooks, Alerts, etc.) as shown in the top right of the diagram. This layer represents the configuration settings for SAP Landscape Management.
  • UI and Integration (External tool for CCI configuration upload and download, External tool for custom hooks, Integration with System Landscape Directory, SAP Solution Manager) as shown in the top left of the diagram. This layer represents the interactions with UI, external tools and the integration with other SAP products.
  • Infrastructure Management and Integration (LM Runtime Automation, Physical/Virtual Resource Management, and Storage Management) as shown in the bottom of the diagram. It encapsulates the interaction with the infrastructure (physical/virtual), SAP systems, LM Runtime services and the storage systems.
